Schedule of Events

Due to the growth of participants, EURēCA will be divided into two groups for the 2018 event.

Group A: Architecture + Design; Arts & Sciences – Humanities, Social Sciences, Visual & Performing Arts; Communication and Information; Education, Health, and Human Sciences; Nursing; Social Work; and Haslam College of Business students only

Group B: Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources; Arts & Sciences – Natural Sciences; Engineering students only

If your project is interdisciplinary, please choose based on which area your poster or creative work should be judged.

All events are in Hodges Library unless otherwise noted.

Monday, April 16, 2018

12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Presentation set-up – Participants in Group A can set up posters in the Hodges Library any time during this period. Participants should return no later than 4:45 p.m. for judging.

5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Judging begins – Group A participants must be present until judging has been completed. Division Representatives will notify students when they can leave.

Tuesday, April 17, 2018

All Day
Exhibitions open to the public – Participants are not required to be present.

Wednesday, April 18, 2018

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tear-Down – Group A participants must remove their posters and exhibits from the Hodges Library. Unclaimed posters will be kept in the Office of Undergraduate Research until April 28, 2017.

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Presentation set-up – Participants in Group B can set up posters in the Hodges Library any time during this period. Participants should return at their assigned time, but no earlier than 4:30 p.m. for judging.

5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Judging begins – Group B participants must be present until judging has been completed. Division Representatives will notify students when they can leave.

Thursday, April 19, 2018

All Day
Exhibitions open to the public – Participants are not required to be present.

6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Awards Ceremony – McClung Auditorium, begins with opening remarks and musical performance.

Friday, April 20, 2018

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Tear-Down – Group B participants must remove their posters and exhibits from the Hodges Library. Unclaimed posters will be kept in the Office of Undergraduate Research until April 28, 2018.
